Yasamina and Kismet Bellydance presents the 23rd annual Spring "Meeting of the Tribes" at the historic Masonic Temple Auditorium, 650 East South Temple, this Saturday, May 5, 2-5 pm.
The concert is a fund raiser for Utah's 27th Annual Belly Dance Festival August 17-18 at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center in West Valley City.
The gathering will showcase the talents of 200 dancers and drummers from throughout Utah and Idaho.
Performers include Kismet School of Danse Orientale, Desert Star Gypsies, Black Pearls, Sadaaqa, BellyLicous, Shimmy, Zivah, DecaDance, Tapestry, Tabla Arabia, Alexa andAlena, Atalya's Emeralds, Indie Kumari's Student Troup, Las Gitanas, Moroccan Winds, Sadaaqa, Renegade, and Lost Caravan.
Admission is $5 at the door.
